Albania

Albania, a country filled with dream like beaches, stunning mountains and vibrant cities, a country that took us by surprise and quickly stole our hearts. We spent a total of 4 weeks in Albania, divided between the beautiful fall foliage mountains in the North, the charming city of Shkoder and the vibrant capital of Tirana. Albania became one of our favourite travel destinations in Europe and when standing at the airport boarding a flight to Amsterdam we were already planning our next visit as there is so much more to see, to do and to experience in Albania, it truly has something for everyone.

Head to the mountains to experience one of the most beautiful hikes of The Balkans, or relax for weeks by the endless amounts of beautiful coastal towns, oh and we haven’t even talked about the kindness of the people of Albania yet. We were warmly welcomed with open arms wherever we ventured, and enjoyed the most delicious food, mountain tea and an endless amount of coffee.
