6 Things to do in Yangon
The Schwedagon Pagoda, situated on a 99m high hill, in Yangon is a sight you can’t miss. A golden stupa reflecting light night and day, covered with roughly 7000 diamonds truly shines bright. The pagoda is visited by locals and tourists, and having the sight to yourself will be uncommon, but it will still be worth it every second. Admire monks praying and walk around the stupa, you will not be disappointed. Don’t forget you are visiting a holy site, you will be asked to take your shoes off and dress modestly (covering up knees and shoulders).
